In this course, not only will you improve your bilingual vocabulary, but you’ll also understand the impact that liver diseases cause in patients’ lives. You’ll interpret some of the most troubling symptoms, treatments, medications, and prognoses.

You’ll be able to strengthen your interpreting skills and expand your expertise by developing a self-learning plan through self-assessment and customization of glossaries.  Upon completion of this class you will be able to:

1. Comprehend and interpret the hepatology terms presented in this course.
2. Define and correctly pronounce unfamiliar words and terms.
3. Promptly identify medical terms and abbreviations related to the digestive system.
4. Effectively respond to cultural and idiomatic challenges such as idioms, colloquialisms, and slang.
