The main objective of this class is to expose you to realistic simulated medical encounters in the 3 main interpreting modes where you will be able to practice terminology pertaining to labs, tests, diagnoses, pharmacology and surgery used in psychiatry.
You will have the opportunity to strengthen your interpreting skills and expand your expertise by developing a self-learning plan through self-assessment and customization of glossaries.
This is a 4-hour class that you can take at your own time and pace.

Comprehend and interpret medical terms in both languages.
Define and pronounce correctly unfamiliar words and terms.
Reinforce and apply the medical interpreter’s standards of practice.

All you need is:
A voice recording device or smart phone with voice recording capability.
A set of headphones for the simultaneous exercise of the class.
A functioning printer to print your worksheets.
